Anine Bing is undeniably cool. I mean, skinny skinny jeans, rocker t-shirts, and leather jackets are about as cool as you can get. But that also means sometimes it can be a little intimidating. I’m here to tell you that us age-defying women can rock an Anine Bing originally as well as anyone else can. I even tried on some outfits to prove it to you.
My everyday look is always jeans and a t-shirt, but if I’m feeling fancy for a Zoom call I’ll layer in a blazer. I love the length of the sleeve on the Lili Tee, and the Sonya jean is just the vintage-inspired fit I always love in denim. The Kaia blazer is sharp-shouldered and a little bit 80s, like an updated version of something Princess Diana would’ve worn. Speaking of sharp-shouldered, this perfectly tailored khaki green army jacket is an incredible way to add a little bit of panache to your usual jeans and t-shirt.
The ribbed Cecelia top is another great layering basic, either underneath a sweatshirt or blazer or on its own. Speaking of sweatshirts, I love this grey one with Terry O’Neill photography and this one with a list of all the cities I plan to travel to once this is all over.
I’ve always been obsessed with this low-rise, high-style black and gold boots. It’s about as rock star of a shoe as you can get. With spring and summer on its way, maybe you had something a little lighter on the brain. I love these pointy kitten slingback heels, and they’re low enough that your feet won’t go into shock after a year in sneakers.
