White jeans are one of the staples of my wardrobe year-round. Although I have to admit there’s something about white jeans and summer that just feels right. Date night? Dress them up with a flirty top. Watching the sunset on a beach? Throw on a summer sweater. Just running around? Grab a linen button-down and sneakers and you’re good to go. There’s a pair of white denim for just about everything on your social calendar, and Bloomingdale’s has them all.
Lately, I’ve been reaching for an extra bit of drama in my wardrobe with wide-leg pants. This pair of Goldies from Joe’s Jeans is high-waisted, wide-legged dream. I love the frayed-edge detailing, which is perfectly shown off if you wear a summery pair of wedges. 7 For All Mankind’s Slim Illusion jean brings wide-leg appeal but in more of a straight silhouette, instead of the fit and flare.
Bootcut jeans are back, baby, and I love wearing them out on date night with strappy sandals for a flirtier fit. AG’s Alexxis jeans are super flattering; they lengthen your legs and slim your waistline at the same time. DL1961 jeans in the Rachel fit are made with more than 30% recycled fibers.
Let’s be honest – it’s nice to rock a cropped jean in the summer. All the better to show off your sandals! My favorite recently is Frame’s Le Crop Mini Boot jean, but Mother’s The Hustler jeans have some rough charm with their frayed edges. Rag & Bone’s Dre jean switches it up with the slim boyfriend silhouette.
Finally, let’s hear it for the straight-leg jeans. An old favorite, I love the modern lines of these AGOLDE Cinched High Waist jeans. I wear with barely there sandals and a bright colorful top. Sanctuary’s 90’s High Rise jean is somewhere in between a boyfriend jean and a skinny jean if you’re looking to compromise. For the ultimate skinny jean, you can’t go wrong with Joe’s Lara cigarette jean.
