The holidays are right around the corner, and with that comes party season. But life is about balance! For every fun party full of champagne and cookies, there needs to be a sweat session afterwards. Whether you’re in the front row of your favorite class or just taking your dog out, Nordstrom has an amazing selection of stylish activewear for your winter workout. Having cute clothes makes it a lot easier to get out of bed and get active, and isn’t that the hardest part?
I’m wearing this Free People Rocky Ridge pullover in the header image, which I love for the bright colors and cozy fleece. It makes me feel dressed even if I’m just doing a coffee run! This pink-and-terracota camo color palette is a favorite too! A statement fleece is a great way to stay warm in between the car and your studio, especially if it’s deep pile fleece like this extra shaggy Polar Escape pullover in grey. This chocolate brown fleece from Threads 4 Thoughts feels especially grown-up. This white Moose Knuckles jacket is gorgeous, thanks to stylish details like the shape of the sleeve and length of the coat.
Ok, so we got the outer layer covered. But you’re going to need to make sure your leggings are fresh – we don’t want any holes for the wind to sneak in! I’m a big fan of Alo, and their high-waist leggings are chafe-proof! Zelle’s long leggings go all the way down to your ankle, and have no-slip fabric so they actually stay up. Sometimes, you don’t want a legging – you want sweatpants! These Vuori performance joggers have become my go-to.
Keep it low-key for your top – grab a long sleeved tee like this Zella pullover in either a flattering black or a lighter oatmeal shade. If you’re really chilly, throw a half-zip sweatshirt on for an extra layer. Finally, you need a pair of sneakers! The Nike Metcon 4 is a dream for weight training, and I’m partial to a Cloudswift when I’m running!
