Wedding season is back, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I’m fully vaxxed, and ready to get on the dance floor. What I’m less ready for but equally excited about? Getting dressed up! It’s been so long that it feels like a foreign concept. But don’t worry, we picked out some truly beautiful dresses that will make you the best dressed wedding guest at any wedding this summer.
Weddings are all about the venue, so I thought I’d do by that category. Most of the receptions this year will be outside, so I have florals and color on the brain. This blue and white floral Diane Von Furstenberg dress would be perfect for a garden wedding, as would this (slightly pricier) Saloni Lily dress. I love the large scale, dramatic white flowers on this high-neck, retro-silhouetted Mikado dress. Saloni always brings it when it comes to color and pattern, and this black and floral polka dot dress is picture perfect.
On the beachier side of things, this Cynthia Rowley tropical-inspired dress or this fluttery blue-and-pink chiffon number from Eliza J? Maybe you need something a little more conservative, because it’s a more traditional country club situation. How about this Kay Unger organza one-shouldered dress in a gorgeous peach with metallic threads? Or a sleek crimson red sheath dress? Or this artsy black shirtdress with screen printed for a museum wedding?
Black-tie wedding on the horizon? Don’t worry, we picked out some floor length gowns for you, too. Marchesa’s rainbow sherbet colored confection of a gown is super glam and feminine, and the one-shouldered silhouette gives it a Grecian vibe. I love the vibrant shade of blue in this Studio 189 dress, which is dressy enough for a formal summer event, but not too formal that you’ll never wear it again.
