Their clothes have the same core shaping properties and comfortable stretch as their shape wear, but it’s built directly into the fabric. My favorite part? The white pants have Ultimate Opacity Technology to make sure your white jeans are not see-through. For good measure, I threw in some shape wear favorites in case you need to refresh for wedding season.
My favorite Spanx pieces tend to be pretty classic when it comes to the silhouette. In fact, they make basics so good, they call them Perfect. The magic of them is in the quality of the fabric, which smoothes you right out! Take these Perfect Wide Leg pants that have built in core-control. They’re comfortable, but you can totally throw on a blazer and heels to dress it up. The Perfect Sheath Dress would come in handy this wedding season. The Perfect Length top was designed to wear with leggings, covering up just enough (your butt and your front) that you can rock your leggings without feeling too exposed.
I already mentioned the Ultimate Opacity Technology once but I am truly obsessed. You can not see anything through these suckers. The kick flare on-the-go pant is quickly becoming part of my summer uniform, and it’s the pants I’m actually kicking in up there in the header photo. There’s a wide-leg version and a slim, ankle cropped pair too!
And of course, there is always the shape wear. Their Power Short is a best seller for a reason, and it’ll smooth without feeling too constrictive. The OnCore high-waisted brief snatches your waist and sculpts your tummy. I even love their Bra-llelujah cami that comes with a built-in bra, which I tend to wear on the lazier days around the house.
