All-In-One Dresses Are Our Favorite Trend For Spring

Effortless, elegant dressing has never been easier.

All-In-One Dresses Are Our Favorite Trend For Spring

A mixed media dress, more than most, are truly instant outfits. Why? Because they look like separates! Mixing and matching textures between the top and skirt, smart color blocking, or a belt that cinches the waist. Just throw on shoes, and you’re ready to go!

I’m wearing ME+ EM’s color block dress in the header. When the dress has two different colors, like this black and tan one, it really does give the illusion of proper separates! The nifty built-in belt makes getting dressed even easier, because there’s one less accessory to worry about matching. ME + EM has a lot of great mixed media dresses right now, like this intense orange option or this chic black collared number.

An easy way to make this kind of dress feel a little more elevated and formal? With an unexpected neckline. Forget the t-shirt top and choose something a little more memorable, like this sporty French Connection tank upper and drop-waist bottom. Wouldn’t this black-and-white Solid and Striped strapless dress be perfect on your next vacation? All you need is a tan, some strappy sandals, and a gold cuff.

It’s also a great way to mix pattern and color in a more effortless way! There are a lot of great striped options, like this ME + EM buttoned-up dress, this Zoe and Claire sleeveless number, or this Tuckernuck collared and striped option.

If you’re in more of a monochromatic mood, then playing up the different textures is key! It’s what keeps the dress/outfit from looking too one-note or flat. This Staud dress in navy is a perfect example! The soft, clingy cotton short-sleeve top and the crisp poplin pleated skirt give you just the right amount of contrast. Reformation’s Verona dress looks similar, but with a sleeveless tank upper for any extra warm days.
