Leopard never goes out of stye, but this season it’s really everywhere. It’s the perfect pop of pattern – or even work as a neutral itself. It’s fun, rich, and always makes a statement. From luxurious outerwear to versatile accessories, take a walk on the wild side with our leopard edit.
When I think of the leopard pieces in my closet that get the most wear, they’re all sweaters. I love throwing them on with my favorite jeans, trousers, and even sweatpants when I’m lounging around the house. J.Crew’s super-light featherweight cashmere cardigan and Massimo Dutti’s chunkier option are great everyday pieces. Zara’s knit long-sleeved sweater reads more like a t-shirt if you keep it buttoned up.
It’s also fun to swap out your well-worn black or brown pants for something a little more wild. Mint Velvet’s barrel leg jeans or Mango’s relaxed jeans would look both great with a crisp white button down and black boots.
My favorite way to wear leopard? With a coat that really makes a splash. Somehow, a leopard print coat goes with everything! Over your leggings, over your jeans, even over another print. Right now, a short transitional jacket like this Mango option or Aqua’s version are both eye-catching. Coach’s car coat makes you look instantly put together. There’s something romantic and retro about it, and I love the contrast collar.
If you lean more minimalist, leopard accessories can make an even bigger impression. Look at these incredible calf hair knee-high boots from Reformation! I love the low heel, and the subtle curve which makes them feel a little more unique. I would style these sneakers are from Mint Velvet more like a loafer, with a great pair of trousers or a suit. And don’t underestimate the power of a great belt! Cinch it around the waist of your favorite blazer.
