Mother’s Day can feel a little complicated. On one hand, it’s a Hallmark holiday—but on the other, it’s a moment to pause and honor the women who have shaped us in ways big and small.
For me, my mom and my maternal grandmother were such forces in my life. From an early age, they encouraged me to dream big and go for it—and I did .
But if I’m being honest, the women who have had the greatest impact on me today are the younger ones in my life—my daughters, my daughter-in-law, and even my 10-year-old granddaughter. I learn from them every day. They move through the world with a strength and boldness I wish I had at their age. They support me—and I hope they feel just as supported in return. They remind me that kindness matters. That it makes a difference.
So this Mother’s Day, I’m raising a glass to all the women out there lifting each other up. Let’s celebrate all women—the ones who came before us, the ones beside us, and the ones who are still finding their way. And when it comes to gifts, honestly, just being together is more than enough.
But if you’re so inclined, I’ve put together a few things I love—thoughtful, beautiful pieces that feel just a little special. And as always, if you have the time, a personalized gift makes it even more meaningful.
