It’s always fun to spend lounge around in your bathroom in a silk robe, and sheet mask to your heart’s delight. But who has the time? Most mornings, I need to get up and get going! My everyday beauty routine is full of products that can be swiped on or blended with your fingers, and effortlessly work together. Less is more when it comes to beauty, and this routine will have you looking yourself-but-better.
The most important thing to me when I leave the house is my skin! I want it to look even and bright. Erborian’s CC Red Correct is a favorite of mine, because the slightly green tint takes away any hint of redness in your complexion. Erborian’s regular CC Cream has a pore-blurring, tinted effect – kind of like a really subtle Instagram filter.
IT Cosmetics’ CC+ Cream is tinted and full-coverage if you need something a little heavier, plus it’s loaded up SPF 50 to protect your skin. Merit’s Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick is both a foundation and a concealer, and perfect for spot treatment.
Once you have a great base, it’s all about adding depth and color to make your face come alive. Westman Atelier’s Beauty Butter Matte Powder is my bronzer of choice, and Chanel’s Les Beiges is a close second. A dusting of color over your cheeks with a pink-y color like this Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks for a healthy flush. Ilia’s Tint works for your eyes, lips, and cheeks!
Mascara is one of those things that can make a world of difference. It makes you look more awake, which is helpful if you’re running late in the morning because you overslept. I’ve gotten really into clean beauty, especially when it comes to putting stuff on my eyes. Ilia’s Fullest Volumizing Mascara is dramatic from the first swipe, and it provides length as much as volume. Jones Road, Bobbi Brown’s new line, and Merit, from Byrdie founder, both have excellent clean mascaras also.
