COS has become one of my favorite brands, thanks to their minimalist and elegant approach to design. It’s a decidedly anti-trend approach to fast fashion, with an emphasis on high-quality fabrics and separates that are easy to mix and match. From the perfect t-shirt to structured, slouchy trousers, the COS edit we’re shopping this season give high-end vibes at much friendlier price points.
TOPS
One of the most reliable categories COS has is elevated button downs and t-shirts. They’re structured and dramatic, but wearable enough for the everyday. Their Oversized Tailored shirt is a favorite, especially in the white and blue stripe for a subtle touch of pattern and color. The Boxy Fit top is a little dressier than a t-shirt but less formal than a blouse – I love it in crisp white or a French-y navy and white thick stripe.
Their sweaters add a luxe feel, like this chunky cable-knit in a rich navy or elegant beige. Their mohair cardigan comes in a color block palette of lilac, white, and beige which is surprisingly chic. Speaking of lilac, this loose lilac oversized sweater would look great over a slip skirt or your favorite jeans. It comes in a light blue, too!
BOTTOMS
COS has some of the best tailoring in the fast fashion game, with an attention to detail like pleating and the perfect tapered leg. The black slim-fit pant hits at the right length to show off shoes, and the slit lends some drama. These paper-bag khaki pants work now with a turtleneck and later with a tank top. Even their jeans are great, like this mid-rise and straight leg cropped pair that perfect the lived-in look.
ACCESSORIES
Their pastel palette will cheer you up through winter with this Easter egg colored plaid oversized scarf. Not into the colorful vibe? Their large, streamlined totes in chic neutral colors look like something you would see on the Row’s runway for a fraction of the price. Here it is in a light beige, and here’s one in black.
