Fake eyelashes can add volume, length, and glamour to your makeup look. As we age, sometimes it feels like even our lashes have gotten thinner, and a little boost from fake lashes can do wonders for your confidence.
First things first, let’s get your lashes! Beauty is super personal, and lashes are no different. There’s different sizes, shapes, and lengths for everyone. I don’t like anything too over the top, and this Tarte Goddess pair gives lots of volume, plus it’s vegan and cruelty-free! These Velour lashes are natural looking and don’t need to be trimmed. This House of Lashes collab with Sephora can even be reused up to 20 times.
Once you have the lashes, you’ll need the proper tools. The leading adhesive is from Duo, in either clear or black. An eyelash curler is a must-have, and there’s no better one than Shiseido’s eyelash curler. Finally, a lash applicator. This handy little tool makes the hardest part easier – actually putting it on. Sephora’s special lash applicator is even curved to make it extra easy. This LillyLashes tool even comes with a brush on the end, so you can brush and fluff to perfection. You can always just use a regular pair of tweezers, too. I think Tweezerman tweezers are the best on the market.
Last but not least, when you’ve successfully put on your new lashes, you’ll want to help them blend in a little bit. Time for a coat or two of your favorite mascara! You can’t go wrong with Chanel, and Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara certainly lives up to the name.
