It’s time for our monthly groove approved roundup! All of the things our editors bought (or want to buy), and loved. We’ve caught spring fever and our shopping carts show it. Think breezy boho blouses, linen shirt dresses, and short sleeved sweaters.
You might have noticed that this season, we’re all about dresses and skirts. I’m wearing this crochet Anthropologie cream dress in the header image, which feels sexy without showing too much skin! Perfect for sweaty summer days. Gap’s peony pink midi dress is the perfect pop of color with lace details. And it’s under 60$! J.Crew’s linen utility shirtdress is a perfect throw-on-and-go option that is easy to personalize. You could wear with sneakers, with heels, over cigarette pants, belted – you name it!
We’re still in love with separates though, and gravitating towards items that mix-and-match easily with lots of layering potential. A cardigan is an underrated spring staple, and we love Brochu Walker’s Havana sweater. The puff-sleeve detail makes it feel a little more special. I have visions of wearing it with these Veronica Beard flared cream jeans. Voila! New spring uniform!
I’ve started thinking about sandals! As the new spring collections slowly start trickling in, I’ve been looking for the shoe that I’ll wear nonstop. And this Emme Parsons wedge ticks all the boxes! The rich espresso brown color, the modern lines, and the lizard embossed leather really take it to the next level. For a flat shoe, these Tuckernuck white-and-tan color blocked slides feel a little more interesting than the usual riffs on the Hermes sandals.
My beauty drawer got a seasonal upgrade, too, with these Westman Atelier bronzing drops that give me the perfect (fake) sun-kissed glow. And Hourglass’s volumizing lip balm has become my new go-to, stashed in an easily accessible pocket of my purse.
