Holiday party season is here, and there’s nothing I love more than getting all dressed up and sipping champagne with friends and family under twinkling holiday lights. It’s always fun to play around with sequins, feathers, and color in my outfits. But there’s one thing I keep pretty standard: my holiday beauty routine. Below, a few of the products from Nordstrom beauty that keep me looking my best during this festive time of year.
The base is always the most important part! I want my skin to look fresh, dewy, and glowing. I need a foundation or tinted moisturizer with lots of hydrating properties. And something that won’t cake! Westman Atelier’s Skin Care Complexion Drops have been my go-to primer. It glides on like an oil but gives you this fresh feeling. It takes out all the redness and even improves texture. I’ve also been impressed by how many shades they’re offering now.
Once the skin is primed, I like to use Westman’s Foundation stick if I want heavier coverage. It’s super creamy so it blends right into my skin instead of sitting on top. It also works great as a concealer if you get a shade or two lighter! I’ve also been loving Dior’s Forever Skin Correct concealer, which also works as a great eyeshadow primer.
With your skin taken care of, it’s time for some fun. A little bit of rock-n-kohl eyeliner makes your eyes pop, and elevates it from your everyday fresh face. Make sure to fill out your brows with this Anastasia brow wiz pencil. And remember: your eyebrows are sisters, not twins!
For the final touch, a matte lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury that never dries out your lips. It comes in a ton of colors, but I love a rich berry shade to feel a little extra festive. Slick on some Chanel gloss over, and you’re ready to party.
