There’s a lot to love about cashmere. It’s cozy, it’s luxurious, it’s super comfortable. The one bad thing about it? Sticker shock. Luckily, Nordstrom has a new in-house cashmere line that’s all of the quality, at a much more affordable price point. So you can get two of your new favorite sweaters in two colors, or really go for it with an elegant new coat. After all – it’s not like you can ever have too much Nordstrom cashmere!
When it gets crispy and cozy outside, I swap out my usual t-shirts for crewneck sweaters. Ideally, cashmere ones! I love the ribbing detail at the wrists and neck for a more casual vibe that makes it easy to throw on with leggings or trousers. There are so many colors to choose from, but this year I’m really feeling something a little brighter than my usual neutrals. This peach-y pink, this sky blue, and this peony pink are some of my favorites.
If you’re more into the deep V, there’s a signature version of that too! This rich cobalt blue is one of the trendiest colors of the season, but a heather gray is always going to be chic. And of course, you can never go wrong with a black sweater.
Sometimes you want to take it up a step from your basics, though. It’s all about the attention to details. The Puff Sleeve sweater is as easy to style as your plain crewneck, but the puff sleeve elevates it! I love this baby blue color, and you know I have a soft spot for winter whites.
Finally, there are a few pieces I think of as the stars of the collection. The cream-colored cable knit sweater is an absolute standout. I love the polo shirt shape and the texture of the cable knit. The wool-and-cashmere coat has a showy collar, and I just love the way the coat flows and drapes.
