As important as it is to pack the right clothes on a vacation, how you pack can make as big of an impact. With long weekends and spring breaks right around the corner, I picked out my favorite luggage and accessories that will make you organized and efficient for your next weekend jaunt.
I’ve written about this before, but I love Paravel’s Aviator carry-on. I think the brand does such a great job of creating pieces with a stylish vintage aesthetic, but they don’t sacrifice function at all. And at 450, it comes in a lot cheaper than other high-end luggage like Rimowa. The cream and tan color is my favorite, with vegan leather accents and pretty ribbing. And don’t forget the brand’s packing cubes, which I’ve put in every travel story we’ve ever done. These, more than anything else, changed the way I pack. They lay perfectly flat in the suitcase! I know where everything is! And as a fun bonus, you can monogram them!
Your beauty products have been getting the short end of the stick for too long. Speaking for myself, I always end up throwing things together into one large pouch and digging through later. No longer! In the spirit of organization and efficiency, I bought one of these Parallele Traveller pouches in a pretty bisque shade. It makes it so easy to pack your serums, tinted moisturizers, brushes, perfumes – you name it, there’s a pocket for it. And the smaller size is fantastic for carry-ons, too!
If you’re just going away for a weekend, the BEIS weekender is another secret weapon. There’s so much more usable space in it. It feels like a magical Mary Poppins bag! My favorite part? The compartment at the bottom is perfect for shoes.
