Start Off The New Year With New Reading Glasses

You can never have too many pairs.

Start Off The New Year With New Reading Glasses

A new year, and a new promise that this is going to the year I finally read as much as I can. But you know what I need before I can crack open a book from the stack on my nightstand? Some cute new reading glasses. In fact, ideally I’ll get two or three pairs so I can leave them around the house. Here’s what’s on the top of my list.

Tortoiseshell is timeless, especially in these bookish oversized frames. I love this updated tortoise frames with sand, cream, and blue colors that feel beauty but sophisticated. The Peepers pair is almost camo, with the dark olive green and brown shades.

There’s nothing cooler than cat-eye, and this seafoam green pair is both nostalgic and trendy at the same time. The Book Club’s take on cat-eye is sleek and minimalist, with some interesting details that make them stand out in a crowd. They come in a beautiful burgundy shade, too!

Looking for something a little more out there? How about snakeskin? This tan snakeskin printed pair is interesting without being overwhelming. These clear rose pink glasses are a fun, but subdued. This is a classic square shape, but the half-gray half-pale pink readers feel a little more edgy.

If you’re feeling retro, the CADDIS aviator frames are always my go-to. The classic shape comes in two fun colors, so you can pick from baby blue and silver or pink and gold. I have the blue and silver, and I get a ton of compliments whenever I wear them!
