There are plenty of things I love about aging. The one thing I am not a big fan of? Aches and pains Elbows, knees (remember my knee replacement), shoulders, back – it’s a twisted version of the song I sing with my grandkids. Aches and pains might be here to stay, but there’s more technology than ever to help us treat them.
Since it’s not like you can go to the spa and get a massage right now, work out any kinks yourself with the Hypervolt Vibration Massage device. The Hyperice and the G4 Mini Percussive device are more affordable entry points, but still get the job done. Pre-pandemic when I used to travel, I also made sure to include a little Hypersphere ball in my carry-on to massage out any stiffness from airplane seats.

And of course, there’s CBD creams. The miraculous little plant is popping up everywhere, and it really does work. Lord Jones CBD Body Cream is a favorite, as much for their packaging as their great formula. You can also throw some of their bath salts into your next soak. Empower Bodycare has fantastic salts for a soak, too. Sagely Naturals is another company I can always rely on for products that really work, and I love their Relief & Recovery Cream.
