When she finally launched her own line, Pat McGrath Labs, in 2015, her first product sold out in six minutes. Today, PML is valued at $1 billion dollars.
We’ve featured her products in stories before, because we use them and love them. But we’re taking the time today to highlight the work and career of Pat McGrath herself, along with other products in her line that we think deserve a little extra love.
The product that started it all for us: The MatteTrance Lipstick. Color is one of McGrath’s signatures, and you can really tell why when you use her lipstick. The pigment is richly hued and goes on evenly, the lipstick never dries out your lips, and even the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. If you’re more into lip gloss, then her LUST Lip Gloss is the best lip gloss you’ll ever use. Again, she knows how to use color, so the Lust collection is practically 3D when it comes to sparkle and shine.
If you’re into highlighter, you won’t find a better one than Skin Fetish. The cult beauty product sold out within minutes the first time it hit the market, and it comes in three different shades so you can get the right color for your skin tone. Plus, the double-sided stick comes with the shimmer + a special balm to make you look hydrated and dewy.
I haven’t been wearing a full face of foundation that much, but I do always put a little concealer on. Her Sublime Perfection concealer provides amazing coverage, but still blends perfectly blends into your skin. And it stays there. Plus, it comes in a wide variety of shades.
