Statement Jewelry That Looks More Expensive Than It Is

Big Bang for Your Buck

Statement Jewelry That Looks More Expensive Than It Is

Jewelry is the sartorial cherry on top of your outfit sundae. It adds a little bit of seasoning and allows you to express yourself. Everybody loves jewelry, but nobody loves fine jewelry prices. So we found the designers that are creating beautiful, interesting pieces of quality jewelry under $500.

One of our go-tos? Julie Vos. Her big, bold pieces have a signature look; there’s always plenty of gold and beautiful stones. We’re pretty sure whoever first said “it’s a lot of look for less” was talking about Julie Vos. Baroque pearls are still around this season, and these pearl drop earrings are dainty enough to wear everyday but formal enough to wear out. We love a pendant necklace here at In The Groove, and her Honeybee Statement necklace ticks all the boxes. Big, dramatic gold chain? Check. Pretty crystal that comes in a variety of colors for personal preference? Check!

Maybe you’re looking for something a little bit daintier. Sarah Chloe’s monogrammed pinky ring is pretty and classic, the kind of piece you put on every morning without even thinking about it. And while you could certainly put your own initial on it, it’s just as sweet if wear a loved one’s initial.

Gold hoops are still the gold standard of jewelry trends right now, but take the opportunity to switch it up a little bit this season with some of Laura Lombardi’s new pieces. Her braided hoops are a great way to add a little bit of texture to any outfit, and as a delicious bonus they look like freshly baked challah.

All of our recommendations are curated by Susan & the In The Groove editorial team. In some, but not all cases, we receive a small commission for leading you to what, how and where to buy all this wonderful stuff.
