Must-Have Beauty Products For Getting Out The Door In 5 Minutes

The top six products I can't live without.

Must-Have Beauty Products For Getting Out The Door In 5 Minutes

Less is more when it comes to makeup these days. Gone are the days of heavy foundations and dramatic blush – and it’s not just because I barely leave the house anymore. My skin actually looks better when I use multitasking products like CC cream and a little bit of concealer. But don’t take my word for it! I talked to a makeup artist to get the scoop on the best makeup for women over 50. So let me show you how I get out the door with 6 products in less than 6 minutes!!!

Watch The Video:

CC Cream

A CC cream is the best of both worlds: it’s coverage but it’s not cakey. It just gives you that freshly filtered look, like your skin on its best day. I’ve stopped using foundation because it can settle unflatteringly, but this It Cosmetics CC Cream is so good, I don’t miss foundation. It even has SPF 50! This Erborian BB Cream is another favorite.

Eyebrow Pencil

Eyebrows frame your whole face, so doing a little bit of maintenance can make a huge difference. As you get older, your eyebrows can get thinner or more uneven. Use an eyebrow pencil to fluff and fill out, like this Kevyn Aucoin pencil or this Brow Wiz from Anastasia.

Concealer

Concealer can do a lot more than just hide things, it can actually color correct. I’ve been using this Stila color correction palette because it comes with all the colors I’ll ever need.

Lipstick

I don’t need to explain the power of a great lipstick to you, so I’ll just list some of my favorites. Becca’s lipstick is a must-have, as are these cult-favorite Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks.

Mascara

Mascara can make your eyes look bigger and more awake, especially when you also use an eyelash curler. I’m slowly turning over to green beauty, and Ilia’s Limitless Lash and Fullest Volumizing mascaras are really, really good.

Bronzer

Since I’m all about sun protection, gone are the days of laying out and catching a tan. Thank god for bronzer, then, which still gives me a sun-kissed look. Merit’s hydrating cream blush in a dark shade does the trick, as does  Chanel’s Healthy Glow powder,  and Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Finish Bronzing Powder

Comment PODCAST, and we’ll DM you the full @sowhen Comment PODCAST, and we’ll DM you the full @sowhendoi episode. ✨ What if we stopped holding onto things that no longer serve us? This week, we’re talking to professional organizer and founder of Imagine It Done, Lisa Jacobs (@imagine.it.done) about why decluttering is about so much more than cleaning out a closet. Together, we’ll explore why it’s so hard to let go of our stuff, how clutter can affect our mental well-being, and why creating space in our homes can help us make room for the life we’re living today. We also share our own struggles with sentimental keepsakes, kids’ memorabilia, and the emotional side of letting go, while Lisa offers practical advice for getting started without feeling overwhelmed.

Whether you’re downsizing, buried in clutter, or simply ready for a fresh start, this episode might be just the motivation you need.
