You might be asking, “What’s Galentine’s Day?” As Amy Poehler once said, it’s about ladies celebrating ladies. Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about romance, or at least just about romance. It’s first and foremost about love, and there’s no one we love more than our best friends. They deserve to be celebrated just as much as our significant others. After all, they support us, lift us up, and listen to us complain about aforementioned significant others. They answer our middle-of-the-night-can’t sleep texts, honest with us about those pants from five years ago that don’t look quite as good anymore, and are always ready with a glass of wine.
Female friends are just as important as any man you might have in your life, and that deserves to be celebrated too.
