I’ve found that these days, most of my coping mechanisms are rituals. Getting up in the morning, getting dressed, going for my daily walk, doing work. Virtual happy hour is up there, too. Are you writing in journals? My journal is helping me collect my thoughts and check in with myself. Plus, I keep reminding myself that it’ll be nice to look back on how I felt whenever we’re back out in the world.
All of this to say, do you have a journal? If not, now’s the perfect time to get one. And, at least for me, having a journal that look nice motivates me to actually write in it. So we rounded up the best looking journals out there, ready and waiting to be filled with all your thoughts, dreams, and worries.
Leatherology is our go-to place for personalized leather goods, and this classic journal is just one of plenty personalized options to chic up your desk setup. We love it in slate gray, but it comes in a ton of luxe colors, from burgundy to bright blue. We also can’t resist a monogram, so feel free to add that in a sharp metallic foil.
Maybe you want something a little less serious. Clare V.’s collaboration with Anthropologie is full of the designer’s signatures: bright colors, a penchant for monograms, and a decidedly French sensibility. Her journals have all three, and at an affordable price. This Cabana journal in a pastel pink and blue linen is perfect for anyone who’s dreaming of beaches and vacations. For the minimalist out there, HAY’s journal in a chic stone color comes with gilded gold edges for an extremely luxe take.
