I’m a firm believer that wrinkles are a privilege. I’m not interested in erasing every single one on my face for Instagram. But sometimes, I do want to look a little….refreshed. The wrinkle fillers below aren’t going to erase a lifetime’s worth of wrinkles, but they will make you look like you got the best sleep of your life. And of course, we’re not trying to shame anyone who chooses to use a little bit of filler if you want. No judgement! That’s what we’re all about.
A mask is a great way for a pick-me-up, if instant gratification is your thing. Usually, I would use these before a big night out or a special occasion, but now it means I’ll throw one on before an important Zoom call. These SIO Eye Smile reusable wrinkle patches are worn overnight, and you wake up looking rejuvenated and hydrated. These Peace Out Wrinkles patches are less of a commitment. The results are just as good thanks to the micro-needling technology and retinol formulation. And of course, I love a good Hanacure mask. Yes, it’s the Insta-famous zombie mask but it also really works.
If you’re putting on a full face of makeup these days, first of all – good for you. Second of all, a good primer can help blur and fill your skin for a photo-ready finish. My favorite is Nars Instant Line & Pore Perfector. Estee Lauder’s Instant Wrinkle Filler Blend is also a great spot treatment for smile lines to avoid the dreaded makeup caking.
Of course, the best way to improve the appearance of your skin is through your skincare regimen, and that might take a couple weeks to start making a difference. This Murad Retinol serum is one of my go-tos, and the Drunk Elephant Retinol Cream won Allure’s Best of Beauty this year if you’re looking for something a little cleaner. Dr. Sebagh’s Instant Lift Cream is definitely a splurge, but worth it. And on the more affordable side of things, No.7’s Instant Wrinkle Filler gets the job done.
