The Only New Year’s Eve Outfit Inspo You Need

Ring in the New Year in style.

The Only New Year’s Eve Outfit Inspo You Need

For New Year’s Eve, whether you’re staying in for a cozy dinner or hitting the town, you can bring festive flair to any event. From feather-trimmed pants to subtle shimmer, organza blouses to sequined skirts, shop our favorite NYE outfit picks now.

Yes, sparkles might seem a little first thought for New Year’s Eve, but there’s no reason to mess with a classic. I don’t wear a ton of skirts in my everyday life, but when I’m dressing up during the holidays it often ends up my go-to. I love a flattering, straight-cut skirt that goes past the knee. It’s the perfect amount of feminine without feeling too va-va-voom.  This navy blue velvet-and-sequin skirt, this deep brown-ish red Veronica Beard skirt, or this silver Mango skirt are all great options. Just throw on a monogrammed tuxedo shirt and a pair of tall boots, and you’re ready to go.

Maybe you’re feeling a bit fancier. There are certain dresses I only wear this time of year, and I’m always excited to pull them out. Tuckernuck’s long sleeve sheath dress in a rich wine color with fun lavender sleeves is a more unexpected take on holiday dressing. I’ve gotten compliments every single time I wear it! For something a little more classic, I love this gold cape dress from Tuckernuck too!

Finally, when all else fails, you can always go for a classic: trousers. In the header image, I’m wearing these champagne sequin trousers . But any texture will look great under shimmering candlelights at a party. These rich chocolate brown pants from Mango or these black feather trimmed Tuckernuck pants will both be showstoppers.
