The holidays are finally behind us, and while I’m excited that 2020 is over, I’m also very excited to have my house back. Over the holidays, I was doing a lot of dishes, washes sheets and towels, and churning through laundry. So it’s time for a home refresh.
If you’re asking if it’s time to update your linens, let me break it to you: it is. One of our editors used their Christmas money to upgrade her sheets, and bought the Percale cotton sheet set and duvet cover. She swears by them! You also can’t scroll through Instagram without running into at least one picture of a perfectly unmade bed decked out in Parachute’s linen sheets.
Looking for something a little fancier? Serena & Lily’s embroidered set is geometric but feminine, and a total showstopper. Pair them with these Hamburg House towels for a total blue and white moment. This tie-dye inspired navy and white duvet cover from Splendid Home is great, and this scalloped navy embroidered sheet set is so beautiful.
Getting out of the shower and having a fresh, fluffy towel waiting for you is one of the best feelings. Looking for crisp white? Peacock Alley’s white set or these Williams-Sonoma towels will remind you of your favorite hotel. These waffle-terry towels are a little less fluffy but no less fabulous.
Now that you can stretch all the way out on the couch again, get yourself a new throw to cuddle up in. Jenni Kayne’s Sonoma Throw has a great rib edge detailing. Leanne Ford’s sand-colored fringe throw for Crate and Barrel is just as chic as you would expect. I love this super-chunky hand-knit blanket from Etsy, too.
This part is less sexy, but your pillows and actual duvet could be swapped out, too. Crate and Barrel’s medium comforter and heavy weight comforter are great.
