This week on So When Do I Take My Clothes Off?, we had the honor of talking with Stacy London. She’s a TV icon from What Not To Wear, a NYT bestselling author, and a really funny, smart woman I could talk to for hours. Luckily, I got to!
We asked Stacy London, “When do I start dressing for the person I am, instead of the person I was?” From her love of building a unique wardrobe and home through vintage to stepping out of your comfort zone, Stacy’s point of view is important for anyone who’s trying to figure out how to express yourself through style. Below, the things Stacy London can’t live without.
Literal Can’t Live Without
Cannot live without my dog Dora. A 10 year old Morkie with an attitude and a narrow trachea.
Things That I Can’t Live Without (unless there is nuclear war than I could probably live without them)
Olaplex bonding shampoo and conditioner
Bonding shampoo leaves hair clean but not dry making it much easier to use their conditioner. Both strengthen and soften hair.

Kari Gran Moisture Milk
The spray moisturizer that works like a cream for deep hydration. It’s a dream!
Slanted, not pointed, to get all of those chin hairs that have suddenly cropped up on my chin since menopause. I know dermaplanning works too. Don’t yell at me.
Understatement (Bras and Underwear)
By far the sexiest and most comfortable things I have ever worn. Groovy company with cool retail philosophy.

Second Street Vintage
Just in general. Locations all over the country and some of the best vintage I have ever found, including but not limited to, glitter black leather hipster trousers from Balmain.

Zara ZW COLLECTION FAUX LEATHER JACKET
Personally, I prefer the brown not the black.
I know everyone is wearing sheer but I’m a 90s fashion girl and we wore Wolford satin tights just like Anna.

By Stacy London Jeweled Collar Jersey Polo
One of my all time favorite pieces that I’ve made. Looking forward to seeing them on you.

The Freshmaker.
