What We’re Buying At COS Right Now

The Scandinavian-designed brand has something for everyone

What We’re Buying At COS Right Now

Have you heard about COS? The fashion store, which stands for Collection of Style, is known for their sleek, androgynous silhouettes and distinctly modern point-of-view. Founded by two Scandinavian designers, the brand is one of the fastest growing companies in fashion, and it’s not hard to see why.

At first, I was a little intimidated by it all. The perfectly beautiful androgynous models, the stark styling on the website, and the sometimes-out-there silhouettes. But when I dug in, I found that it was full of beautiful, elegant pieces that are perfect for age-defying women. Even Queen Letizia of Spain recently wore one of their long-sleeve dresses on an engagement, giving the brand the royal stamp of approval. Below, I break down my favorite pieces and show you what I’m buying at COS.

One of COS’s strong suits? Definitely shirting. They have a wide range of (long-sleeve!) shirts and top that never sacrifice on style. Take this draped-tie cotton button down, for example. It’s all the comfort and wearability of your average white shirt, with a statement detail that sets you and your outfit apart. This striped smocked shirt injects a modern flair into the classic seersucker top, adding texture and shape in an unexpected way. This top with wiggle cord detail is another example of how COS can elevate a basic blouse in a really fresh way. Even their plain white t-shirts feel intentional and designed.

I also love their dresses, which are minimalist enough to make it feel like yours but stylish enough to stand on its own. This khaki-colored cotton dress can be dressed up or down with heels or sneakers, and works just as well at a garden party as it would during a busy day of running errands.
