Yay! It’s almost summer which means we should get down to the business of being outside in the sunshine having fun and feeling all the good feelings a summer season engenders: farmer’s markets, ripe Jersey tomatoes, long swims in the lake, Dodger Dogs, a trip on a ferry to somewhere, a drive to a glorious National Park or even Shakespeare in the Park.
For most people, summer means that we are more casual and far less focused on covering up but that doesn’t mean we throw all dreams of chic to the summer winds. Simplicity and organization are more to the point. If we start at the bottom with the perfect comfy sneaker and work our way up with a perfect new pair of higher waisted button front jeans and the always perfect striped tee, we are on our way to THE summer uniform.
