Get The Look: Celebrity Reading Glasses

Even celebrities need to wear reading glasses to read their teleprompter.

Get The Look: Celebrity Reading Glasses

Everybody wears reading glasses. Even celebrities, those genetically blessed human beings, need reading glasses to see what’s on the menu at their favorite restaurant. So in a world that is usually photoshopped and blurred to perfection, seeing Oprah or Julia Roberts in a pair of readers can feel like a breath of fresh air. Stars really are just like us!

We dug around the Internet for pictures of our favorite celebrities in readers, and then found the glasses that match the look so you can get them yourselves. Celebrity reading glasses are sometimes even regular glasses. Because we can’t all spend $400 on custom-made Italian frames like Oprah, you can still channel her iconic Golden Globes awards look with The Miklos glasses, a pair of oversized black frames from Caddis. That’s not the only Oprah inspiration we have.

Looking for something a little more subtle? Take a hint from Meryl Streep’s thin-rimmed, oval frames and put this pair of lookalikes  in your cart. Sally Field’s round-shaped lenses are bookish and intellectual, like this sunny yellow pair .

Annette Bening’s clear frames are fun and artsy, but still pretty lowkey. You can get a similar look with this pretty pale pink pair, in a classic shape so it’s not too out there. Maybe you do want something a little more out there. Totally fine! Iris Apfel’s signature oval frames are a sign of the mega-stylish, and Caddis’s Quant 64 glasses feel similar. We also love these rosy pink aviators, which feel old-school in all of the best ways.
