What can we say about black pants that hasn’t been said before? Black pants are the hot sauce of fashion: everyone likes them, and everyone has a favorite they believe is the best.

The Straight Leg Crop is our go-to everyday pant, which can be dressed down for running errands or dressed up for date night. Their Kick Crop Work Pant is appropriate for work, but stylish enough to still feel fashion-y.
Sharp tailoring, and suiting, is still one of the biggest trends this season. New brand Officine Generale makes gorgeous classic trousers with modern details. Their Pierre buckled trousers are showstoppers, with pleating and a sleek silver oval buckle. We can’t get enough the menswear inspired trousers, like this Tibi pair with front slits. If you like the front slit, but want a more traditionally femme cut, & Other Stories has a great pair with a higher waist and more of a flare. Dress this kind of trouser down and up your cool factor by pairing with your favorite pair of sneakers and a t-shirt.
What else are we into? Sometimes you just need the perfect cigarette pant. Vince delivers on it with their High Rise Cigarette pant, cropped perfectly at the ankle. Wear with oversized turtleneck for a tomboy spin, or a white blouse. With fall right around the corner, we’re getting ready to wear these boot-cut corduroys from J.Crew the minute a leaf turns orange.
