All Cashmere Everything, From Turtlenecks to Cardigans

Our favorite sweaters in our favorite fabric.

All Cashmere Everything, From Turtlenecks to Cardigans

I know I say less is more a lot, but that’s not always true. Especially when it comes to cashmere in the winter. It’s all about All Cashmere Everything. There’s never been more cashmere to choose from, and with so many direct-to-consumer brands online, it won’t break the bank to stock up a little now.

Crewnecks

Let’s start with the basics. A cashmere crewneck is like the white t-shirt of winter. J.Crew’s classic crewneck comes in a ton of colors, and you can personalize it with initials. Their ribbed, oversized version in a wintry ice blue is also fantastic. La Ligne’s tan-and-white striped version feels French-y enough. Cable-knit is a classic for a reason, and the extra-large scale of this Ann Taylor sweater is very great.

Turtlenecks

You know I have a soft spot for turtlenecks, which I think are one of the sexiest garments of clothing ever. This cream, oversized ribbed COS sweater with a dropped sleeve would look great over a silk-y maxi skirt or your favorite slouchy jeans. Everlane’s azure blue Stroopwafel sweater injects texture and color. The extra-large cable knit pattern on this Ann Taylor sweater makes it a showstopper, especially with the pale pink color.

Cardigans

A cardigan is a perfect layering piece, especially with colder months up ahead. Jenni Kayne’s Cocoon Cardigan  This Alex Mill cardigan in a navy and charcoal color palette would go with everything. Looking for something a little extra? I love the yellow hearts on this longline Anthropologie cardigan. Roya’s black, slightly cropped version pairs perfectly with high-waisted pants.

V-Necks

Sometimes you just want to show a little skin. Or, if you’re a little bustier, a v-neck is a super-flattering choice. Nordstrom’s Essential Cashmere sweater is affordable and comes in twelve colors, which means you can make it part of your uniform guilt-free. Naked Cashmere’s Man sweater comes in a slouchy, boyfriend-inspired fit. Brochu Walker’s layered look sweater is a ready-made outfit, just add your favorite pants.
