New Years isn’t about creating a totally new you. Instead of resolutions, I’ve started thinking of January as a perfect time to be a little more conscious about the choices I’m making. Whether you want to work up a sweat more often, keep your desk tidier, or just cross some things off of that never-ending to-do list, this is a curated edit of things to keep you on the right track this year.
Fit
We should all be drinking more water, and a self-cleaning water bottle makes it easier to get your recommended serving size in every day. If you have a La Croix addiction like me, swap out those cans for an at-home carbonator like the Aarke, which is so pretty you’ll want it displayed on your kitchen counter. A Breville kettle will help with your favorite teas or pour-over coffees.
Organized
Nothing makes me feel more organized than a beautiful planner that lives on my desk. You can always rely on Smythson, and this fire-engine red leather cover turns scheduling into a pleasure. Maybe you just want more of a blank slate, like this blue leather journal from Leatherology.
Your jewelry should have a place that’s as beautiful as the pieces are, and Sophie Bille Brahe’s velvet jewelry boxes in lush, bright colors are stunning. I love this large box in a teal shade, and this smaller, travel-size in lush navy. Paravel’s packing cubes guarantee you can stay organized even when you’re traveling.
Active
I’m still working out at home, and have recently made some necessary updates to my equipment. These vinyl kettlebells in a soothing rainbow palette inject some much-needed color into any workout. This exercise ball can also double as an office chair, if you want to get some extra core time in while answering emails. Don’t forget a high quality yoga mat, and wearable two-pound weights.
