Below, my favorite at-home skin devices to face the new year looking as fresh as possible.
A device doesn’t have to be a huge, expensive investment. A micro needling face roller is a great place to start. FaceGym’s Hydrating Active Roller dissolves hyaluronic acid directly into the skin for an instant hit of hydration. Skin Gym’s roller is a great option, too, especially in a sleek silver. And of course, we love a jade roller to help de-puff and firm skin right up. It’s a godsend after too many martinis.
LED treatment masks are all the range, with benefits ranging from clearing up acne-prone skin to smoothing wrinkles. The DRx SpectraLite mask was one of the first kinds of light mask I used, and it kills bacteria in three minutes flat. LightStim’s Light Therapy Device is more of a wand than a mask, and a little more affordable. Revive Light Therapy’s on-the-go wand is perfect for throwing into a carry on or using on the go.
NuFace makes micro-current devices for toning and firming your skin. We love the NuFace and it’s instant-contouring abilities, so we were excited when the NuFace NuBody launched. It’s for firming your body skin, and can help tone, smooth, and firm the appearance of cellulite when you regularly use it. The Theragun is a favorite for working out sore muscles at home, but their new TheraFACE kit combines everything from micro currents to red-light therapy into one device with different utensils.
