These are the fall fashion pieces we’ve been coveting all season – how our editors are interpreting this season’s trend and filtering through our personal style. So what are we feeling the most? You won’t be surprised if you’re a regular around here, but we’re loving oversized, slouchy silhouettes everywhere. In blazers, trousers, turtlenecks, and shirts.
When it comes to shoes, we’re all in the mood for a statement shoe. One of the go-to shoes for the season is an animal print high boot. Loeffler Randall’s Aylin boot is a wearable western-inspired boot in chocolate crocodile that checks all of our boxes and is a great upgrade to your basic black booties this season. Gucci’s heeled loafers in a cream, black, and tan color palette is to die for.
Speaking of animal print, we’re loving this marbled tiger print dress from Raey. You can dress it up for special occasions with your favorite heel and lots of bling, or be the best dressed person running errands with a jean jacket and combat boots. Speaking of combat boots, Church’s flat black Chelsea boots with brogue detailing are
Pieces that can do double duty dressed up or down are a theme this season. Take this belted tuxedo blazer for example. The silhouette of the season works just as well over a pair of jeans with white sneakers as it would with matching trousers and heels. Or a tulle maxi-skirt that you can wear with a cashmere sweater and sneakers before swapping it out for a crisp blouse and block heels.
And the holy grail of our fall wardrobes? Turtlenecks that will carry us all the way through the winter. This displaced-sleeve roll neck sweater from Raey is oversized, and would look full-blown editorial with anything you pair it with. A midi skirt? Skinny jeans? Tuxedo pants? We dare you to find something it doesn’t look perfect with.
