Well, the first month of 2021 is over, and it was a doozy. As we look forward to the new month of February, I’m loving things that are celebratory and positive. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’m thinking pink, and heart prints. And of course, I’ve been proudly wearing my pearls
Hearts
Valentine’s Day is coming on fast, and I love dressing for a theme. Throwing on a heart sweater like this giant, chunky cardigan is a great way to spread the love without touching anyone. This navy turtleneck with hearts on the sleeve is a little more subtle, but just as cute. How about an all-ivory heart knit with pompoms?
Pearls
I’ll be honest, even before our Madame Vice President made pearls a part of her signature look, I’d been wearing them a lot. But now, I can’t get enough! They feel fresh and modern again, like our new VP! These bead pearl hoops add instant polish, and this pearl and crystal velvet J.Crew number dresses up my t-shirt and jean uniform. This long double-strand necklace can be worn two different ways.
Pink
Pink is one of those colors that look good on everyone, and it’s nice to get a little bit of color into gray February days. I gravitate towards a petal pink, like this cable knit mockneck sweater. And of course, there’s always the perfect J.Crew cashmere sweater.
These Gucci sandals are a serious splurge, but imagining walking around out in the world or even on vacation might be worth it. Until then, a perfect pale pink puffer coat and sweatpants for weathering the chill.

Sneakers
