What you definitely shouldn’t be thinking of is getting ready to go out for dinner with your friends, and worrying about what to wear. The whole point of a spa trip is to relax and focus on yourself, eliminating everything not essential for those few days you’re away. Follow our packing list and you’ll be relaxing in no time.
So we’re helping with a few tips. You want to be comfortable above all else, so leave the tight pants or dresses behind. Instead, try a comfortable pair of jeans and cozy sweater. Pick a color story and stick to it, so everything goes with everything. You’ll probably need clothes to work out in, but it’s easier than ever to take an outfit from the gym to lunch. And don’t even think about heels. Try a sleek pair of sneakers, or a chic pair of mules that can easily take you from the spa to dinner.
Oh, and do yourself a favor. Get off social media for your trip. You don’t need to fall into an Instagram hole immediately after a deep tissue massage. Really take this time for yourself, and try journaling. Writing down everything you’re feeling and thinking about is not only clarifying at the time, but something you’ll be happy to look back on later.
